Damn that sucks... any idea why?

Yeah, mechanical timing was off which affects my ignition timing.

Hitting 29psi with wrong base ignition is no bueno.  :noel:

But it was fun  ;DDD

So just how much timing did you end up with exactly?

So just how much timing did you end up with exactly?

The cam was advanced 10deg (crank timing) on my way to Seattle.

After some tuning with, while using the wrong basemap, we had it at advance 18deg (crank timing).

When I got got home to Casper and read what The_Beaver had explained about cyl. head casting and timing. (previousely post in this thread)

I put the cam back to 6deg advance (b/c the block was decked 0.020")

Marked the crank pulley at 12deg BTDC w/ a file and color with a pink sharpe.

Set the dizzy timing for 12 BTDC using a timing light, with connector jumped and engine warmed up.

Then setup base timing in crome pro to 12deg.

She ran stronger, but the damage was already.  :noel:

Give up. Put a stock motor and call it a day. What is this motor number 8? Man dude. U would be better off with no supercharger and just a FIXED turbo exhaust side turbo like a normal person would run. No need to bushwack a wooded trail to the top when u can take a paved road to the top

this^^^^   just concentrate on a turbo setup.. much easier and more reliable russ.

29 psi.  I just wanted to see the power/torque curve of that thing.  Fuck peak numbers.

You should just bolt all of that nonsense to an F engine.  They give zero fucks, and will probably last longer than D series have in this application.

My D-blocks are not the problem for sure.

My lack of tuning skills are part of the problem.

I know have 1200cc inj, 4-bar and slowly tuning to 30psi on the street.

I just found out that there is a new dyno in town, may try it.

Or may go to where  Daspoop works and see if we can get my car on it.

The Dyno he works with are built for Dwarf cars, so my car may be too wide.

I DD it everyday now, deliver pizza in it 3 nights a week.

And took it to a car gathering and surprised a lot of v-8 when I pop the hood and rev, w/ s/c engauged.

I may need to replace the He351ve, a little play shaft play.

All in all I'm having fun with it.  :noel:

How could you not have fun with 30psi on a twincharged/holset setup? Question is, how can you drive it...

Easy to drive, just keep the s/c disengaged, until I want to piss off a Coal Rolling Diesel or Corvette owner.   :noel:
