A log? thats not very creative

Get a 12 pack and bust out the wirefeed. It usually inspires most

what is your plans for the dizzy on that engine?

I tried using a z6 dizzy and I a hard time getting the ignition to work (look at the front page b/c of the use of vise grips). Embarrassed :Smiley Grin

I was told to use a y8 dizzy with z6 electronics to make it work.  Smiley

the intake mani gasket that came with the kit didnt fit too well and the ports on the gasket  were screwy and blocking the ports partially on the head.  I just had to order an edelbrock intake mani gasket for a y8 part number 15005 from kragen for $6.  looks like a decent piece.

y8 head uses the 16 valve non vtec sohc bolt pattern

so you need for obd1 a d15b7/d15b8 dost for bolt on action

Also if you stumble on a y8 dist all you have to do is have a set of obd1 dist plugs and you can repin the obd2 dist to obd1 pins. Internals are the same

Hence why when you convert an obd2 car to obd1 all you need

is

jumper harness
obd1 ecu
