cant use a K tranny. the J has the starter on the tranny side and the K has the starter on the engine side. the j block is too wide for the starter

I'm thinking golf cart style. Have an electric motor roll the car, then dump the clutch. I'd rather fab that up than push it every time

I got a free J35 because it broke the timing belt and killed the valves. Needless to say I need heads but been throwing the idea of adapting a vg30dett 5spd trans and going rwd or a th400 with trans brake

I already talked to a guy about making a GM adaptor for rwd. I have a 5 speed in my truck that I want to swap with a 700r4 I have. Then stick it in an ef hatch I have with an s10 rear axle. One day if I ever have time and money to throw at something stupid.

Thought it would be nicer to my neighbors new born if I didn't use air tools to take the axles out so they stayed in whilst I struggled to take the motor and trans out together...never again

New assembled bottom

I couldn't find my clutch alingment tool so I improvised

It's in!

On start up I had a nasty sounding tick...cyl #3 exhaust valve is sticking

This will be the third time this head will be at the machine shop fml.

Because I'm an idiot, and if its just the valve im sure I can pick up a new for less money, and effort it would take to pull one from the junkyard that could be warped, cracked, or plain fucked. No good yards around my parts, and the closest legit one would be in Tallahassee which is two hours away. This Saturday I work too so I have absolutely no time :<

Ended up bending that one valve some how. I've ordered a new valve ($15.52 from honda :>) shitty felpro gasket set and some honda coolant and got it back together not too long ago. Maybe I'll post some pics later.

gauge cluster looking good which led's or lights did you go with? I like how even the light looks. Last time I tried with led's it sorta had bright spots and dimmer spots, hated it went back to stock.

If you do swap to the hydro frame mount please save yourself the pain I went through and brace the actual frame mount.
