Small turbo for 250hp vitara setup?

Hi! im looking for a small turbo for a Vitara/eagle D16 setup, it will runs time attack so fast spool will be required..looking for around 240-250..any help? Thanks! :)

What's your budget Walter?

I would try and run a T28 if you can find one, or a T25 is second choice.

Hi, im running with a SR20DET T28 journal bearing already, i have to say it needs a lot for tune it but looks like it have lag for vitara setup... i was thinking about T25 but not sure if there are other turbos cheaper even..

if that turbo lags, you have an exhaust leak. lol

If that T28 is laggy you're in trouble...there's probably something not right with the setup.

Only thing smaller and cheap is a k03 or k04 from an 1.8T VW/Audi but you'll be maxing it out to get it up past 200whp.

im using GT28 3inch compressor housing, it should helps i think but as i said it needs a lot of tuning, i will try with it then. thanks! :)

take a look at my crx post. I was running a 14b on forged Y8. made 247whp at like 17psi.

Im using a Ford T3 turbo, it made 210whp Mustang dyno on a low compression B20A non intercooled with a meth kit on 12psi

Probably in the low 3000's. When I ran a 50trim T3 (smaller cold side, larger hotside), it made 10psi before 3500rpm. That was with a stock Civic B-pipe and stock axle-back.

thanks for info!! i got 7psi around 3.500rpm with light tune..i think i will keep that turbo then.  :noel:
