One of the biggest reasons i come here is to see hondas not owned by fgts.

Nice numbers, i feel you on the "i'm scared of having my shit deebo'd".  Still sucks to see people "finish" their car and just get rid of them.

Would have at least tracked it to see what it would run.  Borrow slicks, fix the motor mounts and run it then sell it.  Haha.

I know it's a low 11 second car. Don't need the track to tell me that. Unless I'm stevemode....lol what ever. It was a fun build but not as fun as the crx with d16a6 and a rhb5 at 175whp. I could just hold that bitch wot everyware I went. Onto new boosted things, like my nova.....:)

Busted out some work on the acura today. Flushed the coolent system, replaced the ignition switch, fixed a exhaust rattle and fixed the air filter. I will say that the car has never looked so clean. And boy it sounds fucking sexy when driving away. Haven't ever really heard it from the outside....lol

And yes........

Other than that I'm gonna drive it until the wheels fall off.

In that case, at least get a Delta 272 & F23 intake manifold. Or a 42/48 turbo, then it will feel like a stronger version of your d16a6.

I'm just gonna go ahead and bring this thread back from the dead. Two questions: is this car still alive?
And with your Chris M special throttle body- did you have any trouble with idle? Seems like some of these aftermarket throttle bodies don't have an idle screw to adjust airflow past the throttle plate.

Mine idles super low until the IACV tries to compensate, and then I get that annoying-as-fuck idle surge. It seems like some people adjust the tb plate screw to keep the plate open a tiny bit at idle. But that seems ghetto, wondering if you did something else?

Idk if the car is still around. I saw it up for sale last spring about 1 year ago. (I sold it to a good friend and then a year later he sold it to a good friend, then a year later I saw him selling it)

I think I see it from time to time but idk. It does have a leed bulletproof tune in it. I also pulled 2° of timing about 14psi b4 I sold it. So that way my buddy wouldn't blow it up.

My idle was solid as fuck. Not once did it fuck around. Iirc I did adjust my stop screw to bump my idle up, and then set my tps.

Word. I probably just need to adjust my stop screw more then. I might try the old tps recalibration, never realized it was a thing until I just googled it. What you driving now?

This integra use to be my daily. I picked up a 96 accord that was bone syock and im still rocking that. My new/old toy is my 66 nova. I got it back in 2012, and threw a small block 327 in it. Drive it for 2 summers and then pulled the motor out and sold it. Have a 6.0 iron block lsx that I put twin 54mm turbo on but it's been sitting for about 1.5 years now. Wife and I sold our house last April and bought 5 acres. In the middle of building our new house now. Have a few more months until we're done then I can get back to building the nova. Hope to have it all done with all the bugs worked out and driving by next summer.

Ah yes, the Nova. It looks like you're building a proper size garage to make that magic happen! I have a holset hy35 that I just brought into our living room this weekend. It needs a new compressor wheel, and I've got the itch to turbo things. The place we're buying has no garage, and not much of a driveway even, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do about car projects yet. Thinking about seeing if I can rent a garage/commercial space somewhere for the bigger projects...
