On a turbo, bigger exhaust is always better.

what about starting with the 2.5" then about 6" down goin to 3". reason the the question is i dont think I have enough clearance for a 3" 90 without hitting the radiator

how much power r u going for? Good to hear that you r getting this slut done! If you r going for anything over 250+hp I would go with 3" as soon s you could!

If you can fit a 3" DP, why not run one?

Bigger is better, I dont care what she told you!! She was just trying to be nice and not hurt you fealings....

But for real, the bigger your dp, the easyer it will be for your turbo to spool up. And it will help the upper part of your powerband a bunch too.

Should set up a poll for this.

I vote 3" with an anti reversion chamber about 6" down to 3.5 to 4" exhaust w/ two resonators/glasspacks and a magnaflow muffler. ;D

  put the biggest shit you can fit on it.  I'd look into modifying the radiator to fit a 3" d/p.  but then again this is rHMT, you can probably run a 1 3/4 schedule 160 handrail and be fine.

the price difference between the two is so small, i'd run the 3".  exhaust turbines work on a pressure differential.  anything after the turbine to reduce restrictions will help.  end of story.
