the smaller holset uses i used a 12x1.5 metric adaptor to 1/8npt and used a 1/8 npt to -3 adaptor

this one had a metric 16x1.5 inlet fitting which the local speed shop obviously didnt have. i did some real ghetto shit here but you cant see it. lol

well i run a -3 from the back of the block,

the line that i got with the turbo looked like a -4 so i was going to run a reducer from -4 to -3. i cut the fuckin line and its -6.

i was pretty pissed off already..

put a -6 hose end on, ran a -6 to -4 adaptor, a female to female coupler and then a -4 to -3 adaptor. looks ghetto, good thing you cant see it.

but yeah. spool on this is kinda shitty. i need to engage vtak a little sooner than 5.5k. i see about 8psi at 6500 and i see 12 at 7200. kinda sucks. i will lower vtak and see how it goes. thing rips though. hopefully i will be tuned in a week or so. fucking 18cm2 housings.

Is that a divided turbine? If so, it wouldn't hurt to try making something like this:

Some nog with an old 80's I6 made one, although his rhmt thread is fairly old now. I think it was fabed right into his turbine housing. It definately works. You should be able to pick up at least 1000 rpm in spool time.
