Hey bitches.
I'm part of the problem, a part-time participant. I'm in and out. But this place is DAF (Dead As Fuck) these days. To me, it doesn't have the same excitement when I first joined, checking in a couple times a day to look at someone's new build thread, nerding out on squeezing another hp or mph out of a shitbox, and sketchy as hell mods done with home depot parts and flux core.
But maybe you all don't care, and would prefer to keep it small, more of a landing page for inbred circlejerks? I'm just fucking around here. But you get my point. I know a lot of you participate in other forums, but I ain't got time for the dickwads on hondatech.
So I ask- do we want to actively grow membership? Or are most people content with how it is now?

Truth, most people have all moved to Facebook groups. Kinda like sloppy mechanics.
I think hmt is the predictor to sloppy mechanics. Just for the honda crowd. And most of us have moved to lsx shit.

facebook groups are such a cluster fuck. you cant find shit. then there are others like spiker that just keep updating there pics. like 240+ pics on one page, i get a notifcation and shit looks like all the same pics.
i use facebook as a time killer. sitting taking a shit. or wasting time at work waiting for the day to end. even at that, a couple times of it just bumping me to the "top" of page a time or 2 while im scrolling or reading a post, i just drop my phone and look for shit to do...
fuck your MOBILE SITES! im never going to use taptalk. i always want to view full pages as they where intended. thats why i bought a good phone, not a damn 90s flip phone to view the internet. wtf.

And yeah, I use Facebook, but I also hate it. It's a mindless timesuck most of the time. And isn't an ample replacement for a forum in terms of storing and accessing data/knowledge/builds/porns/etc.

Last car got stolen, car before that got totaled.
Right now I'm saving money to buy some land, but after that I'll be fixing up my 85 silverado and my 00 crv.

I strongly support these ideas of sharing all your shit ass builds. Hell, throw up old builds too. We lost a lot of good shit in the HMT-RHMT switch. I'd love to revisit some of the old school shit.
